Fall 2013: Welcome Back to Pack 443
Hello everyone!
Fall is here and we're excited for another wonderful year of
scouting. Click here for a printable schedule.
You will not see a Boy Scout booth this Thursday at Ready
Set Go- Mr. Ackley wants to ensure the focus is on the school only this year.
You will find us at the Open House ready to accept your applications and
be ready to answer any questions you may have. Our first pack meeting is
September 26 and we will have a fantastic guest speaker for the boys. As
always, it's a family affair and everyone is welcome.
You will be receiving another email the week of Open House
with the forms you'll need to sign up for this year's cub scouting.
Thanks and we can't wait to see you soon!

Change in Meeting Date for December
Unfortunately due to a scheduling conflict we had to move our December meeting. Our original meeting planned for Thursday, December 20th at 6:30 PM has been moved to Saturday December 15th at 11:00 AM.
Tours begin promptly on the hour at the information desk on the ground floor of the Rotunda. Please allow sufficient time to arrive and be ready to start. The tour will last approximately 45 to 55 minutes. Groups may see the Rotunda, the Supreme Court, the Governor's Conference Room, the Assembly, the Senate and the North Hearing Room (all subject to availability).
Our understanding is as long as the weather permits, we should be able to go out onto the observation deck.
If you have any questions, please contact Jeff Augustine jaaugust@charter.net
Thanks,
Jeff

Thursday 10/25 Pack meeting moved to Mayr family farm in DeForest
Hello families, this month's pack meeting is coming up quickly -- it is this Thursday (Oct. 25) at 6:30 p.m. (that means be AT the farm at 6:30 p.m. -- but note the change in location below).
Here are the rest of the details:
Where
Mayr Family Farm (3680 Egre Road in DeForest). NOTE - this is a change in location (the old location was Schuster's Farm in Deerfield)
Website: http://www.mayrfamilyfarm.com
When
Be at the farm at 6:30 p.m.
What
- Corn maze, bonfire, and smores for scouts and families (Pack pays for this)
- A pumpkin for each scout (Pack pays for this -- additional pumpkins available for purchase for $5 each)
What to bring
- Weather-appropriate clothing and shoes
- Flashlights or headlamps
- IF you want more than one pumpkin, then bring $5 for each additional pumpkin you want to buy. The pack will pay for a pumpkin for each scout.
- IF you already have some skewers for roasting marshmallows, then please bring them. The pack will be supplying materials for smores for everyone (scouts and families), and will also have a few of the skewers. More skewers = less waiting for smores.
What NOT to bring
- NO PETS ALLOWED -- This is Mayr farm's policy. Their insurance does not permit them to allow animals on the farm.
